What is this symbolic for? Yes, you can be a douchebag and just say that it’s pretty colours. Right? Well, if this scene is symbolic of their gym match, then what about this?: We pretty much know that battle towards the end (top right pics) was like a sample of their battle in episode 67.
Now, one scene from here I don’t think gets much attention, and to my knowledge, hasn’t been discussed: Here are my thoughts on “Getta Ban Ban”:įrom the time episode 55 was shown to the upcoming episode 92, every week we are being shown our pairing in the opening number :) I’m rewatching episode 62, and can’t help but feel for these two nerds. Let me just start by saying: the diode feelings are hitting me hard today :) Smile, little nerd! I think you’re here to stay :) By incorperating him in to the game in subtle ways, and giving him so much character depth in the anime/music, it’s like they’re trying to establish him as a long-term part of the series. My theory is, is because he’s going to continue traveling with Satoshi. I just think that they’ve put alot into him. Hell, when you go along around route 7 (by the daycare in game), you hear the theme that plays when Citron shows off an invention. not sayin’ names.but YOU KNOW WHO).Įven in music, they’ve given him alot of attention. “Getta Ban Ban” and “KiraKira”. a certain girl…who really is a creepy yandere. And in the anime, they’ve done alot more with him than other traveling companions (you guys know who I’m talking about. It just feels like they put more focus on him than any other characer from the games. Not to mention how he interacts with Satoshi and how much attention/developement the creaters have given him.

In the anime, he’s the one who designed the electric generator (from episode 48), programmed the Kalos Power Plant (another part of the game), and he created the Miare City Gym. He’s also the one who invented the puzzle/key thing that Sana uses to help you get to the games’ legendary. So everytime you train a guy, you have him to thank (in kayfabe). In game, he’s the one who created Super Training. He’s from Miare City (Paris), and at the very heart of Kalos. He’s the fifth gym leader, and his gym is Prism Tower (Eiffel Tower). It feels like both in the anime and in the games, he seems to be added in all over the place.
